The Serenity Bio Sponge Filter Small is a mechanical & biological filter that uses a sponge to collect detritus and build up a colony of beneficial bacteria that breaks down harmful waste materials in your aquarium, resulting in a cleaner living environment for your fish.

Easy to install and simple to clean, it connects to a standard air pump (sold separately) for low-maintenance filtration. The system also doubles as an oxygenator, supplying your aquarium water with much-needed oxygen for your fish.
