The Serenity Ammonia Removing Filter Sponge is a cut-to-size chemical and biological filtration pad. Designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, it fits canister filters and hang-on-back (HOB) filters to actively trap detritus and neutralize toxic ammonia in your tank.

Usage & Maintenance

·         Removes Ammonia from water

·         Custom Sizing: Cut the pad exactly to the dimensions required for your specific filter tray.

·         Placement: Position it as a mechanical and chemical stage within your filter so the water flows evenly through the sponge.

·         Replacement: As an ammonia-removing media, it will eventually become exhausted. Monitor your water parameters and replace or regenerate the sponge as required.
