Low Fat, Lean Protein Recipe
· Kangaroo meat is naturally low in fat and a rich source of lean, high-quality protein. Because Kangaroos are highly active animals that graze on natural foliage, they produce lean, high-quality meat that is typically less than 2% fat.
Single-Protein Raw Diet
· Kangaroo is a good single-source protein option for dogs on single protein diets. Our Kangaroo recipe may benefit dogs with known sensitivities or can be used as part of an elimination diet for dogs with suspected protein intolerances.
Low Allergen Protein Option
· Kangaroo meat is generally considered a low-allergen protein option which may be better tolerated by dogs with known food sensitivities. Because Kangaroo is a ‘novel’ protein dogs are less likely to have developed intolerances to it, and being a wild-game meat, Australian Kangaroo has had less exposure to agricultural and environmental chemicals that may exacerbate allergies.
Feed Wet or Dry
· Our freeze-dried raw Kangaroo dog food can be fed wet (with water added) or dry (as packed). If feeding Kangaroo Dog Food dry, ensure plenty of fresh water is nearby so that your dog stays adequately hydrated.
