African Cichlid Mix - Sahara Sand 20lb (9kg)

Create an authentic African cichlid habitat with CaribSea’s specially formulated African Cichlid substrates. Designed to replicate the natural environments of the Great Rift Lakes, these premium substrates help support the health, colour, and natural behaviours of your fish.

Sahara Sand provides an ideal environment for nesting species such as featherfins, while the striking colours of the African Cichlid Mixes enhance the vibrant natural coloration of your cichlids. Naturally buffering for the life of the aquarium, these substrates help maintain stable water parameters and support the alkaline conditions preferred by African cichlids.

CaribSea African Cichlid substrates also help resist the gradual decline in pH commonly experienced in mature or heavily stocked aquariums, making water quality management simpler for both beginners and experienced aquarists. Combining beauty with functionality, they provide a natural foundation for a thriving African cichlid aquarium.
